This is GinnyG here, Early Bird Argo-Eco Specialist! I am traveling across Michigan, meeting local farmers, putting my knowledge and experience to work! I am prepared and excited to offer my energy as a consultant, farmhand, community organizer, and activist for positive change.

How I Can Help You:

• Share ideas for soil, fertility, pests, diseases and sustainability management.
• Opportunity for you to tell your story to the larger community through an optional interview. Document your thoughts for improvement for our growing community and state!
• Many resources, recommended books, connections and opportunities.
• Evaluate your soil's pH as well as the soluble soils of your summer fruits.
• Insight for obtaining organic certification or not.
• A personal connection with someone from the Student Organic Farm and the Michigan Young Farmer Coalition who can be a voice for you and increase your recruitment power.
• Encouragement, passion, and strong work ethic.

The Details:

In mid July and August I will make a loop around the State, working on farms just like yours, offering my expertise in ecology based farming. I know I have a lot to share and a ton to learn. Depending on your request, I can stay from one to seven days. I can offer my consultations at $10.00 an hour, space to safely camp and (hopefully) a shower! Feel free to make an offer based on your needs. Travel expenses may need to be discussed if a location is far off my route and the visit is brief. We will be sure to set clear expectations to ensure an equally beneficial experience. I am open to bartering arrangements.

I want this experience and will make every effort to visit each farm for as long as I am requested. I am excited about the adventure of meeting fantastic people, sharing all this stored knowledge in my head, and using my energy to help add a little more viability and beauty to our State and this growing community!
